Got enough talented youngsters to rival anyone in the comp but very little quality experience

If we are to have any chance at the eight there are a few players who will all have to step up - and we simply can't afford to lose any of them for more than the odd game - Galea, Laffranchi, Skandalis, Hodgson, prince and o'neil

those 6 players have just about ALL our experience and will be needed to help the kids stay on track.

Prop is still a weak position for us, either payton will have to stop playing like a girl and do something or we'll have to hope one of our younger guys can turn into the hitman we lack (Gibbs and Lima look the best bets but both of them need to learn to temper their agression somewhat if they don't want to spend half the season suspended)

After that it will just depend on how the kids deliver - Rob Farah in particular is going to carry a LOT of pressure now that both senter and mears have moved on...everyone who has seen him play knows he has the talent but he's going to really need to show what he can do this year

where's the "hell no" option? you guys will have a weakened pack due to players leaving, a pack which wasn't even that good in the first place. you have a good halfback in Scott Prince, but i don't think he's good enough to cover your lack of talent in the 5/8 spot. your backline will again rely on Brett Hodgson to provide attacking opportunities, because apart from him there isn't really anyone to cause to many problems for an oppostion. i think the Tigers will be slightly less successful than they were in '04, finishing around 11th.

im undecided on this .. i guess you cant really say until you watch the trial games and the first season games but i think they did pretty good this year and i hope they do good next year although i would rather Souths have the limelight for being most improved!!
omg, alba comments on football! i think the most improved team is usually the one who makes the best off-season purchases. in '04 it was the Cowboys (who don't really support my theory :?) and the Tigers, who recruited very well.

I'm predicting Farah will go to the Bulldogs when his contract is up with Schulz taking over. The Bulldogs are lacking a quality hooker and it's Farah's team. I've been increasingly impressed by Schulz from what I've seen from the kid. I'd expect him to be keeping Farah honest throughout next year.

yeah shultz is a talent! I don't think he's really ready for first grade yet but you are right about him keeping farah on his toes.

Its a tough call on robbie - a lot will depend on how he feels he is treated this year I think

the dogs will make a play for him but he has said he's happy at the tiges and a lot of his mates are likely to start joining him in first grade this year...I'm hoping he decides to stick around. If he can regain his old combo with bronson harrison it might go a long way to convincing him.
