His record is also heavily tainted by playing a significant role in a team that received the wooden spoon. He played in all bar 3 games that year. So seems people are speaking fairly highly of him based on the last 2 years but ignoring some of the major failures of his early career...

Lol@6 premierships. Played in plenty of stacked (mostly illegally stacked) sides, and is nowhere near Immortal status. Good player made to look great by some awful nsw sides at origin level as well.

but he only won 4 preimerships. The nrl needs to be more strict on Melbourne still counting those preimerships they won after systematically rorting the cap and embarrassing the league. Goes to show how pitiful snd weak the nrl for allowing them to do so on a constant basis.

Toddy heading down there to lead the 10 year celebrations for the 2009 asterisk was a disgrace, but entirely unsurprising .

Cronk reminds me of Matt Orford. Solid but unremarkable. Like white rice. His career was when “professional” jumped the shark. Hes done very well for a solid but not spectacular player. Helps playing with superstars of course but still, he did what he needed to and did it well.

Funny how the eels cheating didn't get reported with the same gusto of same hatred of fans given they cheated by $3mill compared to Storms $1.7mill! I guess it helps they were shite even with cheating whilst Storm were successful? Consistency is over rated everywhere it seems

No way the Eels cheated to the tune of 3mill. They had no players worthy of first grade. The team won 2 spoons in that span. On paper it was one of the worst teams in NRL history.
The storm robbed the league of premierships. They should have been kicked out of the competition for good. Instead they stayed and continued to ruin the whole fabric of the game. The Storm/Bellamy are the worst thing to ever happen to RL.
