Why would you place so much weight on a couple of games? Seems a bit ridiculous.

Because it's in the biggest games that a team's deficiencies will be found out. The regular season is pretty much a marathon where brad has gained ground by purchasing many depth players as to give himself the best chance of making the finals. It's like a Ferrari with 3 wheels being overtaken by a datsun 200b. But the Datsun will eventually meet its fate as a team who've taken more risk with its roster will eventually crush the Datsun & that's exactly why BA has only one finals win, & that's why lack of finals wins will almost certainly cost ba his career so on Sunday it's the biggest game of his lifetime

Every club who made the top 6 are talking glowingly about how good their coach did this year. Overcome adversity of injuries, lockdowns etc.

<checks notes> well, actually 5 clubs of the top 6 are happy with their coach.

Anyway, after the Storm win, I changed back to yes for 2022.

I can’t see us choking against the Knights. They are terrible. Their defence is shit and they are extremely vulnerable on the edges. Our forwards should annihilate theirs.
People say that they have won 5 or 6 in a row before the Brisbane game, but they have only beaten trash teams.

That's what Vossy and (P)Enis were saying as they were rubbing one out during Eels v Storm last match.

Umm, the fact we beat the Storm had nothing to do with us mate. It was all because the Storm played shite and were missing some key players. And last night, they didn't win because Manly played shite, it was because the Storm are unbelievably brilliant, unstoppable and unbeatable.

Do you even Foxsports?

Depends if it was his first final series you could accept it.

Its his 4th final series and if we keep failing the same question on the exam each year which is getting past week 2. What do they do moving forward. Keep getting the same person to try and get it and hope it changes. Or throw someone else in. There is no perfect answer.

BA will be coach next year but i wouldn't be looking at any extension unless results are strong in the finals.

The team is good enough to get to the finals as BA has shown by doing a great job turning us into regular finalists. Its now turning those finals appearances into Grand Final appearances and premierships.

We have been down on luck in a couple of those years in the finals no doubt but this is year 8 in his tenure not year 3 and we still haven't reached the final 4 yet. Hopefully that all changes in the next 2 weeks.

But eventually you have to ask the question have we reached our ceiling with BA.
See how you are now adding in all of the previous games when you are putting forward your case? Thats all I was suggesting we need to do.

There's definitely a solid argument to be made to move him on - it just hinges on more than one or two games. You have to look at what we have done over 7 years.

You are also considering multiple games.

We've taken plenty of risk with our roster, especially in the spine:

-Signing Moses, who was so bad that Tigers fans wished us well
-Ditching Norman for rookie Drown
-Putting faith in Mahoney to become a first grader
-Re-signing Gutherson after multiple ACL injuries

No. Never liked Green. Robinson, Flanagan or Holbrook would be my choice now. In that order. However I’ve chilled lately and am happy to make the call mid 2022. Give him his final year. Let’s not respond to my rage and be that club.
I love you, you manic, big crazy middleseasterndescendant from the Balkan region.

This match is make or break for Arthur. He can't survive after a loss here.
That will depend on the circumstances of the loss surely?
I mean if Jnr and RCG get injured in the first 10 mins and Moses misses every kick and we actually outscore them 4 tries to 3 but lose on a 79th minute intercept... should BA survive?
