Well, the eels do appear cooked.Isn't this guy a celebrity chef
Newcastle week 1 finals at commbank.
This shows that we are relying on other teams results. It’s not just in our hands.
Of course. Would prefer our Coach to remain positive with his players though. He’s hardly going to tell the media “we are f**ked” even though there’s a fair chance we are.Sure there might be an upset, but one unexpected win (v Broncos or Panthers away) still won't get us into the top 8 on my predictor run through.
Hence while mathematically possible to make the top 8, our destiny is for all purposes in the hands of other teams and results.

I hope you’re right Gaz. Can’t help thinking that this season has been a wasted opportunity. Our props aren’t getting any younger either and are our best players (Gutherson/Moses). I am so angry with Dylan Brown. His selfishness has killed our momentum.

That was never in dispute. I said it was inevitable that teams above us will lose. Don’t really have an issue with our coach remaining positive and not throwing the towel in.This shows that we are relying on other teams results. It’s not just in our hands.
Unacceptable to be where we are at the moment. The last few weeks have been terrible.I hope you’re right Gaz. Can’t help thinking that this season has been a wasted opportunity. It’s what the original post was about , BA saying it’s in our hands and then Pou also saying if we win all our games we make it. We can still miss out. That was never in dispute. I said it was inevitable that teams above us will lose. Don’t really have an issue with our coach remaining positive and not throwing the towel in.
He’s been pretty clear about where we have let ourselves down. People read way too much into post game press conferences.True.
Although a public "we are f**ked unless..." probably wouldn't go astray, in the motivation stakes.
I just said it’s inevitable that teams above us will lose. I didn’t make the same claim as Pou.It’s what the original post was about , BA saying it’s in our hands and then Pou also saying if we win all our games we make it. We can still miss out.
Very wise!I didn’t make the same claim as Pou.
Yeah. I wish the coach would just shit all over himself, the players and the club at any given opportunity. Would be much better.Of course he hasn't acknowledged the shitness of his rigid interchange plans, or the development issues in his media conferences. Both of which are also factors in where we've let ourselves down. Even the Matilda's coach takes similar criticism on board and pledges to look at it.
Your face is disingenous!Your interpretation is disingenuous. Pou-lite, in fact!
