When we play Away games like in Brisbane or other away games or even home for some and they are the Delayed game on Nine whether it be the Sunday or the Friday night game. What do you do, do you listen to it on the radio or live updates or look on the internet or do you wait and watch it like its live?
I always say that i am going to wait and watch it, but i always end up going and listening..
Maybe a stupid question, but i was just interested into what everyone else does..

Anywhere in the state, I had to drive up to coffs the other week when the sharks were playing on friday and couldn't find it covered anywhere. About 5 stations with bloody AFL on though.

Howabout down here in Melbourne, its a bloody discrace. The earliest I am going to be able to watch this weekends game is 7.30 Sunday night on Fox Sports (thanks channel 9 for playin it 4am the following morning). I try and wait and watch it as if its live but its a joke, if channel 9 have the rights play it the same time everywhere (maybe half an hour after kick off tops) OR give the rights to FOX sports, that will make me happy. Channel 9 is a joke.

Well we played have played the Tigers and the Roosters on Friday night games.. I was at the Roosters game and i got the scores from the Tigers game on here..
Basically i meant this weekend, i won't be there this weekend because its in Brisbane so i will listen to the radio as it is on Sunday.. Stuff waiting for Ch 9, the game finishes at 6:00pm and thats like 1 1/2 hours after the game has finished in real time..

Yeah that always annoys me. Especially when people don't even realised they are being brain washed. They listen to it on the radio and then regurgitate the caller's opinions and claim them for their own and then when you argue with them because you actually SAW THE GAME they have nothing and claim you're obessesed because you have ACTUAL FACTS to back up your opinion.

Best example are the people who listened to/read reports about Origin 1 and refuse to concede the Blues would have been better off had their front rowers put in and instead say the only thing the Roaches needed to change was their half back.

I see, so you didn't really mean that then, you just meant the sunday game ........Makes sense then, you know, to say " whether it be a sunday or the friday game...." !

I always try to avoid tuning into the radio when our Sunday games are televised but often I can't resist. I usually end up listening to the first half and then watching the TV from 4 onwards. At least I don't know whats happening in the 2nd half. I do have to stop myself from going for the radio remote during tense games. I had to use every bit of willpower not to get the final score during the Canberra & Penrith games - it was killing me.

Sharks FTA TV games are all taped and watched later.

Sharks Pay TV games, you'll find me at the pub.

Ok i made a mistake, gees.. I did say radio - live or updates or Internet.. Gees..
To put it easy -
I listen on Sunday afternoon if i can't resist to the radio..
On Friday night i look on the Internet if i can't resist..

I usually start watching it, then often can't wait and check the updates on this site. Then keep on watching it in either a good mood or a bad mood.

Same here, I would rather wait and watch without knowing the result.

That's why I hate threads not marked as SPOILERS!!

being up here in queensland.I watch it on payTV at the inlaws when possible...if that isnt possible..eg I have awedding or something to attend, much to my wife's disgust I take the tranny (radio..not some bloke in girls gear) and listen via that.

When the boys DO play up here..Im at the game!!! If it is free to air or not live I resist the urge to get the score...wait and watch!

I can't look/listen to the scores I wait for the TV for two reasons:

1) If we win it takes some of the enjoyment out of watching it.

2) If we lose it takes ALL the enjoyment and spoils my whole night.
