"I just got the new tv guide today and correct me if I'm wrong but I did not notice the Australia vs New Zealand match for October 18th? There appears to be NO telecast delayed or live on nine and Fox is only replaying the match at 930pm.
This is poor by channel 9 what the hell are they thinking, with past Rugby League Test Ratings there is no excuse not to show the match.

Does anyone know if nine will be telecasting the match but just haven't listed it in the guide yet?

Yeah, that seems pretty stupid - real stinker!! But esp. becos ch 7 has the rugby!!

I don't really think they'll listen to us, but it's pretty bad publicity on their behalf, coming only a couple of weeks after their snubbing of the GF pre-match entertainment, and the stink that that caused!!

They'd wanna smarten up their act pretty damn soon, or they could be the ones gettin snubbed!! :lol:

nope, its true, looked as well
its on replay Fox Sports, but nothing on Channel 9
sucks ass, they should have it on Channel 9, its rugby league ffs, it belongs on Channel 9

Channel 9 have advertised that many times.

Remember the TV Guides are printed 5 weeks beforehand. The game was only scheduled 4 or so weeks ago.

And the test is probably considered alternate programming for Sydney and Brisbane so the regular programming is probably on the National TV guides.

Of course it was always going to be on here.

well the game is now going to be televised and same with all the other tests... looks like ill need to set the alarm clock for 5 o clock when they are playing england.

Probably cuz they showing the Cricket. I mean Australia is only playin' Zimbabwe for goodness sake. Even though I love cricket in the Summer months I think I could live with them interupting to show the footy.

As far as the Australia vs GB matches on at 5am go at leat that means that they'll more than likely be on live.

In the paper today, they said Ch 9 were going to interrupt the cricket to show the game live at 2.30

With kick-off at 5.30 in NZ, does that not mean that we still have a spare hr?

Perhaps they've got some pre-match entertainment for us?! Or maybe decided to show us that from the GF!?

Yeah, I read that the NZ game was live at 2.30 (Take that Australia vs. Romania).

I also read that the England games will be on live, 5.30am.

We are definately 3 hours ahead of Oz atm due to daylight savings.

The weather, particularly in Auckland, has been c*ap recently. 4 seasons in one day with the middle of the day alternating between light showers to thunderstorms.

Hope the Roos bring their winter woolies, cause they're gonna need them!

Personally, I think the weather is going to play a bigger part in the final scores of this game than half's or 5/8th's of either team. Whoever controls the ball should win.

I'm predicting a close game 12-10 Roos.
