Finucane when the side vs Cowboys announced?

While the talk focusses mainly on the improvement with Trciky in, what about the improvement with McEverything playing as a starter?

I would find it hard to change the team to bring Dale straight back in.

Well Dale is out for the season but if this a hypothetical game we’re playing I’d be fine leaving him out but we know he’ll be first picked

no thanks.

Shit signing and complete liability.

penalties, injured, suspensions, defensive liability in our 20m.

reward performance.

Current side is just fine atm.

We wouldn't lose anything if Dale never played for the club again.
Perhaps. I would still have him on the bench over Hunt.
Wouldn't start him. Wouldn't care if he didn't play again.
Our forward pack needs to be upgraded. We have a good basis to work with but there are some that could leave and I honestly wouldn't care.

For whatever reason, I might be completely wrong, he never has really seemed like through and through Shark (whatever that is) since he has been here. I’m not sure if it’s the way he speaks in the media, press conferences etc. it just doesn’t feel like he is all in on the club. Whenever he is injured or suspended, he doesn’t come across as though he really cares that much that he isn’t playing. Sort of feels like his heart is still with Melbourne and he’s here for the pay day before he moves back to the country. Which is unfortunate, because I was a big fan of the signing. I could be totally wrong, just the vibe I get.

I agree with the ‘my heart is still in Melbourne’ vibe.

This is majorly critical, but looking at him on NRL-360, with the 70’s porn star mo and the sling, he just looked old, and anything but an athlete…

Good clubman and good role model for the younger guys coming through but $750k is a lot to pay for a role model. Only one more year on the big coin then drops to $300k or so for the final year which I can live with. Wade also frees up 800k at the end of the year so hopefully we’re in the market for someone reasonable although I’m sure there’s been some decent upgrades to the current squad along the way. Moyza is also surplus to needs if Disco bounces back from his ACL next year.

I reckon he's the kind of guy you'd expect to see when the mascot takes his head off to reveal himself.

Super enthusiastic, good energy, probably spectacular with the kids.

MC Hammerhead maybe?

Yeah I have him in my 17. Not sure in 13 but 17 for sure. I don't buy into him being a Storm guy still. He loves the area, loves Fitz/Nicho etc. The 360 stuff sucks but that is a lot of unfunny Cook his best mate. You can call him over the hill but you can't say he doesn't give it his all. His last few games for us were his best before injury. Fitz for the record is telling people he has been his best signing.

25 his money is negligible and he is probably in that Fifita 22 role then. 24 is a big test for him on the field but I do back him having a positive influence on the team off the field. If he misses a lot of time through injury/suspension you still get value from him. You need old, hard, grumpy blokes. BBB - get a jersey on.

Also take him out of the squad and who do you buy? There is nobody. Flanno can't score in a brothel with a fist full of 50s atm. Dogs throwing money all over the shop to no result. I'll take someone with leadership and physicality.

Don't think Wade is on anywhere near that kind of coin.
