In all honesty QLD could support 12 teams -
Cairns
Townsville
Mackay
Rockhampton
Sunshine Coast
Toowoomba
Morten Bay/Redcliffe
Brisbane City
Ipswich
Redlands/East Brisbane
Logan/South side
Gold Coast
Not in a million years. NSW can barely support 10 with 50% more people.

An Ipswich/Toowoomba "West Brisbane" team could work eventually but you've got give the dolphins a chance to find their feet before adding another Brisbane team which will just cannibalise fan support from the other teams, so doesnt bring much extra to the game. Not sure the QLD govt will be keen on building any new stadiums other than the Olympics ones before 2032 either.

Sunshine coast population is due to crack 500k in 20-25years. Could be revisited then but until the population grows they should just try to commit to playing a few more games a year here.

Yeah - I wouldn’t do it.
i would make some big brand changes to the titans though.
A re-btand isn't the be-all and end-all, BUT the current Titans brand doesn't have much that's unique & appealing to it.

I get what they're going for with the "sand, sky & sea" look of two blues & yellow, but it really just lands somewhere between the Eels & Sharks.

I guess at some point in the future we split into conferences and as populations continue to rise, places like Sunshine Coast and Central Coast can be considered to boost numbers in each conference. That is a loooooong way off though. Viable options right now are:

Christchurch
Ipswich
Adelaide

Future possible options are:
Melbourne 2 / Geelong
Wellington
Central QLD
Central Coast
Sunshine Coast

Unlikely:
Tasmania
Northern Territory
NZ4
Hawaii
Tonga
Samoa
Fiji

So at most we'll have a 26 team comp, but I'd imagine not all of the possibles will happen.
