Last night showed why the Dogs won't be a force in the semi finals. They haven't the intensity that Saints, Cowboys, and Melbourne bring to the table. The winner for this years premiership will come from those three sides.

Stop living in Lah Lah land mate! No team can have full intensity every week... Cowboys have lost 6 games, St Merge and melbourne 4 games (Melbourne 1 draw), where was the intensity those weeks? Bulldogs have lost 3 games this year, that's right 3! Winning ugly is the best way to win IMO. This is why i reckon St George are a great chance to go far this year (Yes i like to muck around and say you'll choke lol) because you're an ugly team! Tough defence, you grind other teams (Like the Bulldogs & Melbourne). Cowboys might beat the Bulldogs next week (Don't know) but they won't win the GF! IMO Brisbane are not out of contention yet, they're a good team in a tough patch!

don't get me wrong, I have backed the Dogs to make the 4. I just don't think they are playing as well as people are making out. Cowboys have had a much tougher run. Their form against us last week was very good. Let's not forget, we really should have had you guys beat at Kogarah. Most of our players were backing up from their 3rd match in a week against your side coming off a bye.

Dogs victory over Melbourne was their peak. They haven't been able to hold that form. Their defence has been average at best against side they should have been putting away. Their form will be tested over the next month.

My point... We hang in there, only good teams can do that! We hang in there and find ways to win .

Melbourne our peak? We didn't have our 5/8th (Roberts was out) and our halfback was off after 10 minutes with injury... Most teams wouldn't be able to re-group after that but we did and we blew away a full Strength Melbourne team how beat Brisbane by 40 the week before.

Why would any team want to peak in round 16 slater lol
You obviously have never been involved in high level league, teams are geared to peak towards the backend of the season.
Pretty sure that is when you will see teams like the dogs and dragons show there true colours.
