Moylan: Mixes the good with the bad too much. He had them guessing and does do this most weeks but geez he has a clanger in him and he's made of glass. Should do yoga.
Feki: Always been a fan of Feki and love his effort taking the hard carries but his speed has left him, and he was never that fast.
Dugan: By far and away the best on park, both sides. Committed, brave, enthusiastic, pretty much error free. Elusive and made many metres
Xerri: Pretty much a one trick pony. A runner. That's all I see in him at this stage. Doesn't create, hasn't got a decent pass in him, misjudges situations and take incorrect options. Heart in the mouth whenever the ball comes to him and has no field awareness as far as backing up. No chance for ROTY
Morris: Big fan of this snorkel too but he was off tonight. Not by much but he wasn't Josh Morris. Dropping balls with line wide open is not his go. Does not benefit at all being outside Xerri. Those 2 seriously need to swap.
Johnson: Mr Any Minute. Always looked like doing something but didn't. Still looks like a square peg in a round hole. Individually brilliant at times but does not fit into this team.
Townsend: Decision making was way off. Headless chook performance. None of his usual self control which rubbed off on no team control.
Prior: was good for the short time he was on. Bent them back, had decent quick PTBs and dragged the A defenders in. Was missed
Brailey: Thought he went good without being great. Has to work on his passing from DH. Actually, don't care. He's farging off anyway
Woods: Same as Prior. What people don't see is that this guy is really strong. He is hard to bring down and nearly always land on his front or hands and knees. Doesn't need to have the fast leg speed of a Feefs or a TPP because his strength still provides great disruption and effort for a defence
Nikora: Jaded. Has lost all impact. Not running the lines, not running with purpose. Been a long rookie year for him, Xerri and Williams. No chance for ROTY
Graham: Probably tried too hard and looked frustrated. I reckon he chose not to pass to Xerri on the break because of trust (and the fact the kid had no idea to position himself). Poor kicking. dropped balls, some ordinary passes. That will be the worst game he has for 5 years
Gallen: Was just Gallen. Did a job, did it well but apart from a great work effort didn't bring anything different. Was still the 2nd best player on the weight of effort
Williams: Meh. Another rookie who is jaded. Not the biggest bloke for a middle forward and the year is taking its toll. Didn't bring anything different either. Basically a grafter with the odd big hit or line break in him.
TPP: Probably should have given him something in the 3,2,1. Had a real go and pulled off a couple of bellringers and always looked like breaking their line.
Magoulias: I just don't know about this guy. Pretty much a less strong Williams. Plodded along in this one and did a share of work
Capewell: I'd throw him in for Nikora. Waste of time benching him and then playing him on the wing. Has been 3 times the player starting games. Clearly a Feefs type who needs to be in the game from the outset.

Pretty underwhelming game from both sides. Was like watching puppets with half the strings missing or severed. 34 uncos being unco on the same night. Was actually LOLing at some of the ineptitude I saw.

I’m not going to try to comment on it all but yeh, give capewell a start.

I can’t see anyone else changing this year, it is set in stone.

Halves were horrendous. Too lateral and lacking the composure to get it done in big games.

Of the rookies, only Uele has maintained his level. The others are showing wear and tear.

Bench use is odd.

Spot on for SJ.

Doesnt fit into this team.

Lovely bloke though.

Our middle forwards don’t have leg speed of the line and lack lateral movement in defence, it’s given teams an easy way to make meters all year long and stops us building pressure.
