Thats good heads up footy by the Dolphins

PNG produce great athletes but their footy IQ and maturity is a fair way behind what clubs here in Australia are used to. Getting them into an NRL system earlier can only be positive

Still waiting on any significant signings from this region in the U18-U21 bracket. It seems Melbourne Storm have signed more from the CQ region.

The Dolphins NRL team has continued its push to boost rugby league in Central Queensland during a visit to Rockhampton today.

The Central Queensland Capras will become an affiliate team of the Dolphins next year, which will include support through the provision of NRL squad players to the Rockhampton-based club.

It will also involve a partnership between the Rockhampton Leagues Club and the Dolphins to install a fulltime game development officer in the region to grow the game.

These initiatives are in addition to the establishment of the schoolboy competition the Dolphins Cup, which will culminate this afternoon.

Apparently signed from the Capras U18 side are Braelan Marsh, Carter Ford and Connor Hinds.

Junior contracts to the Dolphins.
So to redcliffe? My assumption is the only players contracted to the NRL dolphins is the 36 man first team squad? Jnrs and Qlnd cup players will come under Redcliffe wont they?

Maybe they'd rather feed into the most successful club in the modern NRL era and live in a cosmopolitan city rather than an outer suburb that looks like where they grew up?
Maybe Melbourne will start producing Victorian juniors and stop stealing QLD juniors.

haha as if.

Wouldn't they be signed to the Dolphins, then placed at Redcliffe or the Capras.
