Don't miss Parramatta Eels Fan Day!

Celebrity guest Danny Green, a special performance by an Australian Idol and the entire Pirtek Parramatta Eels squad will make Sunday, February 28 a day not to miss when the Eels host their annual Fan Day.

This year, Fan Day will be in the heart of Parramatta – outside the Parramatta Town Hall in Church Street Mall, kicking off at 1.00pm and running until 3.00pm.

For the kids there will be face painting, rides, clowns and a sausage sizzle, while the bigger kids will be entertained with a performance by last year’s Australia Idol contestant Nathan Brake, and an appearance by celebrity Eels’ fans including boxers Danny Green and Vic Darchinyan, and world champion athlete Dani Samuels.

The entire NRL squad will take part in a huge signing session, and there will be an opportunity to purchase merchandise on the day.

Fan Day should not be missed by any Parramatta fan, so join the Eels on February 28, from 1.00pm outside Parramatta Town Hall and help send the Eels into battle in 2010.

MEMBERSHIP CARD UPDATE
Many of you would have already received your 2010 Blue and Gold Army Membership Cards. For those who are yet to receive cards we do apologise. The interest in Membership of the Eels Blue and Gold Army has been extraordinary to the point where we have more than doubled our 2009 membership. We are working frantically to distribute the Membership Cards.

There has been a delay in the delivery of the next batch of cards which we are expecting by the end of February possibly early March. An update on delivery of these cards will be available next week at which time we will again communicate.

Again we apologise for the delay and thank you for your support of the Pirtek Parramatta Eels in 2010.

Non-ticketed memberships
Pack delivery - if you have selected and paid for postage we have begun send packs. Please allow minimum two weeks for delivery.

If you did not select or pay for postage you will receive your redemption letter in the next few weeks. If, once you receive your letter, you decide you would prefer postage please contact us so we can process payment and send your pack.

Biography

Samuels was born in 1988 to mother Tracy Samuels and father Mark Samuels. She is the second eldest of 4 children and the family grew up in Merrylands, a suburb of Sydney and started athletics at Greystanes Little Athletics club.[citation needed]
Samuels attended Westfields Sports High School as a basketballer before changing to train with her coach Denis Knowles in the Westfields athletic program.[citation needed]
Her personal best throw is 65.44 metres,achieved at the World Championships in Berlin on 21 August 2009, winning her the gold medal. She also competed occasionally in the shot put. Her personal best throw is 16.30 metres, achieved in February 2008 in Sydney.

Not really fishing at all...

Just in the likelihood that people holding positions in the club still read these forums (as they have been known to do), leaving them a public suggestion (as we have been known to do from time to time) that might improve the club's future communication processes with its members.

you would be best to go through the club mate

the girls that organized one for me a while back were great,they couldn't have been more helpful (good looking too)
