Finished it just now, I don't think I've ever been so happy to see a sequel bait ending as I was here. Bring on more DOOM.

Just finished it. Everything was awesome. Want more.

You can make your own mods with a full modding kit the game came with.:)

Unfortunately, people are having problems with the modding.

And there is a couple of bugs that will be irned out when available within the Steam update service.

I sadly don't have a tonne of time to play this, but every chance I get I hammer out a level or so. But it's rekindled my love of video games in general. It's just so awesome on every fricken level.

I'm a bit the same with a 3 month old. Only just started on the Hell levels.

The Doom game will be updating from tomorrow 30th June 2016.

DOOM’s first post-launch game update is coming June 30th to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam. Update #1 introduces several new features, including a Photo Mode for taking in-game screenshots, and a new weapon placement view option, which centers your weapons similar to the original game. The update also includes improvements, optimizations and fixes for more commonly reported bugs. See below for a full list of everything in Update #1

Earlier this month, we also implemented a multiplayer improvement patch, which shortened lobby load times and balanced some of the multiplayer weapons based on your feedback. You can read more about that here.
Note: The update will automatically download for Xbox One and Steam users. PlayStation 4 users will need to enable “automatic updates” within their console settings to ensure that they download the update automatically, or can download manually through system settings.

Install it before you go to bed as there is a hefty d/l after the initial disk installation.

When you wake up the next morning, all done.

Then you have to d/l the latest patch.

But remember, take your time with the game, don't get intimidated....and have a good look around for the secrets.

I was planning on picking up Doom but got a text from a mate in Brisbane saying it was $47 @ EB, so I ran out and grabbed it.

Loving it so far, shame I didn't buy it a week ago when I had a virus and was home sick

Should have had patience and waited till the first patch update(yesterday).I would have got it cheaper than the $80 I paid. But the guy at EB games gave me the poster only kept for ppl who pre-ordered.

So when you do go to pick it up,ask him if he has any Doom posters left.;-)

So I picked this up the other day to give my new GTX 1080 a workout. The engine is absolutely gorgeous, no doubt... but I can only play it for about 30mins at a time before I get very bored. It's not that it's easy, I've got the difficulty cranked... it just bores me.

Pretty disappointed, I thought I'd like it... but I just can't get engaged. I'll probably keep trying, though... it's very pretty.
