Draft Beasley, package Gooden & Thomas for a back-up centre and if possible move Hinrich even if it means taking on more salary. Re-sign Deng. Sign and trade Gordon. Trot out:

PG (Hinrich)
Hughes
Deng
Beasley
Noah

Nocioni
(Gordon sign and trade)
Back-up centre

Even if you don't move Hinrich, he might bounce back this year and become decent again. Can't believe D'Antoni didn't go to the Bulls, man that team is made for him! Depending on their moves, they could easily return to the top of the East next year, there's enough pieces to do something meaningful.

you gotta draft rose just look at the difference a true pg make
Hornetts and jazz have come from no where to one of the best teams in the league cause they drafted a good pg

Chicago need a centre. If they can organise that then im positive that they will make the finals next season.

As for Miami at 2... thank f**k for that. They need something.

 I haven't actually picked an NBA team to support yet but Miami need something... I Think if they can get a good player in the draft, and keep their stars on the court, they can finish in the finals next season. Will take something special though even with Wade and Marion.

Logic would say that Chicago should draft Beasley as they really lack that low-post option, but as has been said, you can never underestimate the value of a great PG. I'm pretty sure Miami would love Chicago to take Beasley, as Rose would be a great fit for them with Wade.

The value of a great PG, but chicago have to many guards as it is :?. Quite the pickle IMO. They could miss out on a champion, but then to be the best IMO then need someone that can get into the bucket.
They were probably the worse shooters this year because IMO they couldn't get inside...

For the Bucks Brandon Rush (very under-rated) or Anthony Randolph (could be anything) would be nice. Hopefully we trade both or one of Redd/ Mo Williams

I'm bored and do not want to study for uni so heres a quick little mock.. I'll probably change my mind a bit and edit it as it gets closer and i see and read more but heres how I see it for the lotto (lets see how wrong I am lol)

1. Bulls: Rose - Bulls love guards. Probably try and move deng, thomas and others for a PF. Could take Beasley but I think they will take Rose as Beasley's character they may not want with Noah, Thomas etc (esp at the same position!)
2. Heat: Beasley - Why not?
3. Wolves: Mayo - Wolves make a suprise selection and take Mayo to match up with Foye and look to move Mccants(or keep him as a 6th man scorer). I've read they like Love but which would be interesting!
4. Sonics: Lopez - A c who can let them take their time with someone like Sene
5. Memphis: Jordan - REACH! lol.. Grizz take the chance. They are going nowhere fast and take the chance on him being more dwight howard then patrick o'bryant. Were probably wanting Mayo but are a lotto team for the next few years and their move of kwame for pau shows they are prepared to take some L's for the future.
6. Knicks: Bayless - Slips from most mocks i've seen but I think teams will be in love with big men and Bayless is quick enough for what the knicks be wanting to do
7. Clippers: Gallinari - I don't know much about him but everyone is rating him and here he makes sense for the clippers given maggettes uncertainty
8. Bucks: Randolph- upside gets him taken over love. Charlie V surely is on his way out and gives them another project big with Yi
9. Bobcats: Love - he and morrison can be poster boys for white players. Other then that can help out Okafour as May never will be fit. Good player but may be taken earlier
10. New Jersey: Gordon - I don't see Vince staying in NJ and he gives them a nice young scorer to put with Harris.
11. Pacers: Augustin - Short but if they move O'Neal I am assuming they'll get back a sf/pf..Maybe a move with Chi town? I would guess Chi would make them take Hughes back who could maybe help defend with someone like Augustin
12. Kings: Rush - Insurance if Artest goes
13. Portland:Alexander - Needs time to work on things and can do that while on the bottom of the blazers depth chart
14. Warriors: Westbrook - great fit for them.
15. Suns: trade the pick again? Nah, they need some cheap players.. They take Budinger

and because I like the Sixers they take Arthur

now lets see how wrong I am

Honestly if Im Miami and the Bulls take Beasley, Id trade down and take Westbrook,Augustin or someone like that. Heat already have a superstar in the back-court who can give you 26/7/7 on any given night.

Wasn't that the logic the Pistons used to draft Darko over Melo (cause they had Tayshaun)?

its a 3 player draft imo

Mayo could be anything, a lot of people forget he had LeBron like hype coming out of school

he was stuck in a crap system in college

They took Darko simply because he looked great in workouts and was rated by many as the next best talent behind LBJ.
