We know the club will sign some sub-par players for 2023. Here is your chance to tell them who not to sign. One nomination each -

Morgan Harper
I don’t mind Uncle Bully

Surely to goodness the WIN cooperation could organise some well paying 3rd party sponsorships to help entice a few decent players to the Gong ?

We are all sick of the discount buys from the reject shops so if the Gordons are fair dinkum about their beloved Dragons then splash some money around .

A sensible idea @Gareth67 . But, could you please tell me something, anything, good that the Gordons have actually done for the club? I can't think of a single thing! It sickens me to say it, but I really wish either one of them was more like Uncle Nick!

I would love Uncle Nick at our club. Much more comfortable wearing a salary sombrero than a salary cap.

The trouble with TPA's is that they have to be made at "arms length " from the club management according to NRL rules. This can mean for instance that a rich fan with no official position in our club management could approach an elite player at another club and offer him a generous deal to join and act as middle man. I would think Politis with his successful business background would have network of contacts like this. Unfortunately, we don't seem to have anyone with the smarts or contacts to do this ATM. I don't know who put the Ben Hunt deal together but they don't seem to have done much since.

All true in how TPAs should be run, and I'm sure Uncle Nick stays well clear of any TPA arrangements.
