G'day guys,

I've been overseas for quite a few weeks, but I was wondering if anyone had been to any fan days, and whether or not there was any dramas getting items signed by players ?

The only reason I ask is because I heard a few stories toward the end of last year about a couple of players not wanting to sign things, and the thing is I would love to get a jersey signed by the boys this year.

Has there been any problem with that kind of thing, or is it all good ? I know the players have been great with this kind of thing in the past.

The players were great at the Xmas breakfast. There was a limit on the number of things that a person could get signed; but this was club imposed so as to provide as many people an opportunity to get something signed.

I had no problems at all at any of the fan day's throughout 2010, and yes at the xmas bbq they said only one item per person to get signed, only because of the number of people who showed up, so that no-one was disappointed, and do have to give it to the guys as some of them stuck around even after they were supposed to be there so that people got their items signed.

I bought myself a Premiers jersey and I'm hoping to get it signed up by the end of the year. many years ago i got myself a jersey with all the Saints and Illawarra players who first formed the joint venture side - 25 of them.

I'd love to have a Grand Final one on the opposite wall.

I've thought about doing it too, but at a fan day do you say no to someone like jack bosden or cuthbo because they didnt play last year?

Might struggle to get saffys autograph, and then jeremy and nev might be reluctant to sign.

too true that, but funny as jeremy was actually at the xmas bbq, which I thought was a surprise... he wasn't seated at the table, but definitely saw him there taking to the boys, so you never know, still might be able to score a signature out of them.
