Wow! How does that compare to playing at two grounds and none of them at your original home base?
How does that compare to giving up all your history and becoming a new entity in St.George Illawarra?
It doesn't compare, true.
Sharks had no history to give up when they joined the $uper league. They were trying to retconn their entire existence in an attempt to give their poor, deluded followers a ray of hope. I suppose the Shoire was happy to eradicate the embarrassment that was the Cronulla Sutherland Sharks RLFC. Much better to have some cheesy jabberjaws mock up in a Dallas Cowboys rip off star.
Our inept management have stripped St George fans of our home ground for this year, and given idiots like Middleton the opportunity to try and strip us of our awesome 11 year run.
Yet, it's still better than the miserable attempt at being a first grade rugby league team that the Sharks have vomitted out since '67.
Let's all quote Jack Gibson, called the 'Supercoach', one of the best coaches in league history; "waiting for Cronulla to win a premiership is like leaving the porch light on for Harold Holt."
When Harold get's back, start crowing. It's April; September will be as fruitless as ever for the Sharks.
