Its hard not be pessimistic when you see a lot of other clubs signing players to strengthen their squads at the moment and all we seem to be doing is getting rid of players from what is already a weak squad...where is the joy in all this??Just so you know, I remain fairly optimistic (rose coloured glasses I know) but I get beaten down by the wall to wall pessimism posted on the forum at the moment. It is understandable I guess, but doesn't do me any good. Maybe a few wins by the team would lighten the mood.
Is nobody prepared to question if having the most basic training facilities in the NRL as being a big turn-off to players ans their managers? The COE project seems years away from completion....and even then, underwhelming in my opinion.Ai... we need 2 big signings for 2026 (equiv of Val/Gutho/Cook, but 'hopefully' younger this time) to get some optimism for what were building into in 2026... hopefully 1 is a middle, 1 is a 7 or a Fullback..

Your right there , many years ago I stayed at the panthers hotel & saw the new high performance fields & building & new it would be a game changer for themIs nobody prepared to question if having the most basic training facilities in the NRL as being a big turn-off to players ans their managers? The new CEO needs to sack; Haran, Millard, Millward, Young and Car. He should then replace these people with qualified people. Now is the time for Tim Watsford to come out and let us know what is being planned for the Club with players signings and what the future holds for the Dragons.
There seems to be a code of silence at the moment. Is it because they just have nothing to report and there is jack shit happening with new recruits?
Love your passion possm but if we sack everyone that you’ve listed from the players and club officials there will literally no one left in the building hahaThe new CEO needs to sack; Haran, Millard, Millward, Young and Car. He should then replace these people with qualified people.
At the same time, he needs to give Flannagan a written warning detailing his shortcomings. End this letter with a time period to turn things around and the threat to terminate his contract if things are not rectified.
He should also immediately commence the search for a new head coach.
Thank god for that hahahaYou can take this guy off the list

Evidently they only want mbrs of 5, 10, 15 years standing.8th of July starts 6pm
Lack of modernising our facilities to keep up with the more progressive clubs surely speaks volumes to prospective signings about how much our management values it's players. I can imagine player reaction to touring our 'State Of The Fart' facilities would be 'Are you serious?'Y

Spot on even Ramsgate RSL has more going for it than the stuck in a time warp club of ours ........Lack of modernising our facilities to keep up with the more progressive clubs surely speaks volumes to prospective signings about how much our management values it's players. ThisDont LaughBut I genuinely think he can win it
Maybe Watsford is the best man for the job if he really is a super salesman & promoter. Hope he can sell ice to Eskimos. Right now, he is probably holding a half-full ice bucket with a few flat, half-empty BOD champagne bottles sticking out.The new CEO needs to sack; Haran, Millard, Millward, Young and Car. Great news, has been lerking around the club ever since he was sacked. You can take this guy off the list

Can someone tell me who the CEO reports to? And will he have the power to sack the board like Richo did at Wests? And what would need to happen to sack all or part of the BOD?Maybe Watsford is the best man for the job if he really is a super salesman & promoter. Hope he can sell ice to Eskimos.
