Dragons Release Riddell & Kite

According to the press release on the official Dragons website, Mark Riddell and Brent Kite have been released by the club for season 2005. This paves the way for Riddell to sign with the Eels and Kite with Manly within the next 48hrs.

They shouldn't use the term 'release' since they aren't on contract next year. I say Parramatta should quickly lower their offer. ;-)

Did it say Kite was signing with Manly? Perhaps that was an error.

They didnt say where either are going, just that they would be released due to the Dragons not being able to match other teams offers. But it is well known that Riddell is going to the Eels, and Manly are now favourites for Kite (not Canberra)

When did that happen? Last I heard Kite was going to Canberra for 350K?
