I wish this guy all the best, but if he replaces either Sloan or Sullivan without there being an injury concern, I will give this season away before it starts, I'd much prefer to watch my beloved Collingwood play and think of the Dragons as a bad memory for the year.

Boy you are a glutton for punishment and must love clubs with issues both on and off the field.

I imagine that when your GP found you followed the Dragons he put you on medication like the rest of us and then when he found you also follow the Magpies he said double the dosage.

I couldn't imagine there would be enough beer in the world to make me commit to your 2 teams.

People can forget about Des there is absolutely no chance he is coming to us as a coach.

He is now looking for a transfer into the administration side of the game and if Des is as smart as I think he is he will know that our fractured club is not the place to make the cross over unless of course Win sell their share of the club and that isn't happening anytime soon.
Des could nearly afford to buy the club with the extra payouts he has received in the last few years.

Couldnt agree more OT, but at least the Magpies have given me some joy over the last 10 years and always seem to be trying to better themselves, dont get me wrong I love the Dragons but it's such grind atm and in a way heart breaking in everything they do.

The Dragons are pleased to announce the signing of Māori All Stars playmaker Paul Turner for the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

The 22-year-old joins the Dragons from the Gold Coast, where he played seven NRL games in 2022, effective immediately.

"Paul brings that utility value we've been looking to add to the depth of the squad," said Dragons General Manager of Football Ben Haran.

"He'll prove to be a handy addition throughout the season and we look forward to him joining the squad on Monday."
So many fringe first-graders 'with potential' or who have the ability to replace injured or unavailable players!

Recruit 2 marquee backs and 2 marquee forwards at an average of 900k each
= 3.6m

Less TPA = 0.8m.

Plus 13 'first-grade' players at an average of 500k
= 6.5m.

Plus 13 pathway graduates at an average of 176k = 2.28m

Total Salary Cap Expenditure = 11.58m

2023 Salary Cap = 12.1m

Balance = 0.52m
