you are all being a bit one eyed do you really think saints are going to win what a joke
we will play their whole team into form just in time for finals broncos to smash us by 40
and all of a sudden the heat is off mary cause he picked a couple of lower grade players
last few weeks was sack mary now
what a waste of time protesting when a bunch of f**king whimps ie: people on this site
have now forgotten the big picture
how about you all f**k off and support table tennis and let the people that really want mary gone continue to keep the momentum going
f**k me

Mathews needs to step up like he did last year when frizell got suspended. Still a decent team, sims adds abit also. It's in wollongong haven't lost all year there. It's going to be a wet track that also suits us. And donkeys are out of form. Saints 2-0
Saints 2 -0 HaHaha i love it

I actually think Dragons will win this one. They're playing better than Broncs at the moment. Hard to believe, I know.

I know it's highly unlikely but what are your thoughts on giving Luciano a bench spot?

Mathews and sims in the back row, jdb at lock, cooper, host and Luc on the bench with the love child as back up for rein.

I know a debut vs the Broncs pack could be daunting but they are out of form and it is in front of a home crowd.

I would give him a crack but I know Mary will go with McCarthy who in my opinion offers little.
Great idea but I think he only good for two short on no more than 15 minutes total of 25 or so he not playing 80 for under 20 to often

I actually wrote that post before I heard the news and was stoked to hear it actually happened!

I just hope he get some time in the back end of the first half and depending on how he goes maybe a second stint late in the game.

If Mary sits him on the bench and waits to bring him on late in the game it could turn out a bad move coz if the game is gone it could be demotivating for Luc with the contract negotiation.

Alternatively, Mary could paint himself into a corner if the game is in the balance and Mary baulks and he gets little or no time.

Therefore I think a stint in the first half is a must.

Hold on guys we usually miss goals, rarely
boot field goals and score 1-2 tries and bomb 4 tries. Bennett will target Quinlan
and Mann on the high balls. I think we can win as our backline is much better and I believe our forwards are fired up. Marshall,
Widdop and Rein will have to pull their fingers out and fire. Up the Dragons! Hornby
and Young should be pretty familiar with Bennett's game plan.

Broncs too much pace for us out wide.
Roberts try
Boyd 1 try
Oates 1 try
Game over even if they don't convert them

You could be right Old Timer but I hope not.
I am sure that Oates will score and wish that
we had our full team. We have five forwards out and one back. The home ground should be an advantage.

When the Broncs lost last week, they still scored 16 points. That's more than we average. They will have no trouble creating opportunities and putting points on the board. They get Gillet, Thaiday and that other bonehead back, we lose Frizz and Thommo. I want the Dragons to win, I don't see it happening.

I think quinlan and Mann will be safe under the ball. Inversely Oates has had a bad time since origin holding on to the ball which we will target.

Optimistic opinion, dragons by 8

No Frizzel. No Thompson. No Ah Mau and No Dugan we are no chance. Only thing that might keep it close is the rain.

Ayoub provides an update on the recovery of Josh Dugan as well as the training program for suspended trio Joel Thompson, Tyson Frizell and Leeson Ah Mau.

The Australia Kangaroos physiotherapist also provides insight into how local Hurstville United junior Luciano Leilua is training ahead of his first-grade debut.

Luciano Leilua, younger brother of Joey, will debut against the Broncos

DRAGONS coach Paul McGregor is set to unleash the younger brother of Canberra wrecking ball Joey Leilua this week after handing 20-year-old Luciano Leilua his first grade debut against Brisbane on Thursday.

The Hurstville United junior will come into the 17 in place of the suspended Tyson Frizell and likely play in the middle alongside fellow young-gun Jacob Host.

“[Frizell’s suspension] is another obstacle we’ve got to overcome,” McGregor said.

“We’ve got a few players out at the moment through suspension but what that does is it gives another person an opportunity to play within the team and play at their best.

“You don’t know how they’ll handle it until they get out there and play but what they have done is give themselves the best chance by the way they’ve been preparing.

“You obviously don’t replace a bloke like Tyson or Thommo if they're missing but the players who come in just have to play their own game and play it to the best of their ability.”
