The refereeing was terrible
the raiders were very lucky to get away with that one. Dugan had a very VERY quiet game by his standards. I think we missed Fensom alot, he'll be back for the GF.
There was deadset nothing in those Rheinberger tackles, the 2nd was barely even worth a penalty.
Ordinary decison on that dragons no try but i had to laugh, no way our FG would get a call like that  points wise it cost them the game but its a long way out from home, canberra looked like they could score at any time they wanted. I think had the dragons got in front the raiders would have lifted and still scrapped through but i guess we'll never know now thanks to poor officiating.
Either way that was a very un raiders like performance, too many errors, on the wrong side of possession and line breaks aswell as mistackle stats. If we play like that next week we'll get beat.
Dugan defence was again top notch, we certainly could use that in FG. As good as Milne is his defence is way below that of Dugan.
Anyway scrappy win, Dragons certainly finished the better but our defence stood up when required as champion sides do. Should be a good game next week especially if it's against the Warriors.
Great season from the young Dragons, really enjoyed watching them. 80% of this team are still eligible for under 20's next year - including big guns like Mundine, Merrin, O'Brien, Hancock, Marketo, Henry, Whare, Roche, K Stanley - so it augurs well for 2009
