Dragons vs Broncos

We have been so busy dicing price and dissing dugen, we forgot to talk about the football game on tonight!

What are peoples thoughts? Its one we definitely should win, key players have their reputations in the firing line and every week Beale should get better and better, that plus getting back to WIN for a home game..

However... I'm more interested in seeing signs of a working team game-plan, than the actual result.

I'd be pretty confident in winning this apart from the fact that it's rare to see teams jag a win on friday after a sunday game. Our schedule really is a merkin of a thing this (first half of the) year.

It's a game we can win.

But do not underestimate the Broncs, they played pretty well that first half and there is not too much they have to correct apart from that fade-out they had last week in the 2nd half.

They are usually pretty good at bouncing back.

If we are on our game we can trouble them.

It's simple really, ball control and our halves to be on tonight.

I'm actually pretty confident we can snag a win by a few points they only concern I have is can anyone remember when Broncos started a season 0-2? Plus they've only won 1 of their past 9 games or something so they are due for a win soon one would think, I just hope they put it off until next week, because Saints have thier instant loss next week.

This...

Now i dont want to be painted with the brush that i watch the Footy Show regularly because I dont but they all seemed to have nice things to say about us last night and that we played better then the outcome looked...

We played an amazing football team last week and naturally came up short, but i saw enough to say we could get better.

Would love to see them keep it really simple, and not have to rely on the likes of Morris to create something special from own half. Seemed to be make yards pretty easy last week, but kicking game was atrocious. Was concerning to see Fein kick so much last week. Praying that wasn't a deliberate part of our coaches plan?

If the Broncs can play for the full 80 as they did in the first 40, last week, then we will have our backs to the wall. Having said that, even so, I believe we will win this in a close one.

He is out vidot is playing in his place.

Luckless Dragons centre Chase Stanley trained with the side on Thursday but a final decision on whether he plays against Brisbane on Friday night won't be made until close to kick-off. Stanley suffered a minor knee sprain last week and had been expected to miss up to two weeks, but he was named in the centres for the clash and coach Steve Price intends to give him every chance to play. Should Stanley be ruled out, Daniel Vidot is available

Dragons will be without C.Stanley due to knee injury. He will be replaced by Vidot. Frizell is in some doubt due to ankle injury and if he was out B.Harrison would start at right edge for Frizell.
