Unfortunately i think both teams will play their grandfinal this week.
The knights will probably have enough left to beat the cowboys next week and be the 8th team in the finals, but both teams will probably beat the hell out of each other and be spent forces after this game.
It is sad to say, but the Knights had everything coming together nicely before Johns was injured. Apart from Johns, this is our strongest side all year. All our starting forwards are rep players and our bench is the strongest it has been in living memory as well.
Kurt Gidley has had a couple of good games at halfback, but this week's game is his 4th ever in the position. He never played halfback in the lower grades.
You can't win big games with a novice halfback, however good he is.
