Please do it, both are absolutely useless. A few wickets against the 3rd grade Kiwis won't change that!

Johnson
Bollinger
Hilfenhaus

plus one of Hauritz or Kreija for the Boxing test.

Thoughts?

As if the selectors would make those changes, even if they were warranted, and in a perfect world Pup take over the captaincy from Ponting, who needs to concentrate on his batting.

Has it ever occurred to you that the reason Johnson is taking all these wickets is because Lee and Siddle are keeping it tight and creating pressure then Johnson comes on bowls his mandatory 6 balls across the right hander and 6 foot outside off stump, the batsmen's eyes light up and they try belting him to the boundary but get out because they try to hit it to hard.

Lee and Siddle keeping it tight..huh WHAT! Lee bowled 4 overs for 22 with the new ball, Johnson bowled 4 and got 1 for 3. Siddle is tripe. Changes are needed. Lee has lost a good two yards of pace and Lee doesn't have much going for him other than his speed. When his speed is gone, he is cannon fodder.

Bollinger is starting to find some form for the Blues today, and Hilfy is one of the better bowlers in the Shield this year. I'd consider Maggoffin as well.

It would be unwise to throw two untried bowlers into that situation against what is a strong South African batting lineup. There would be shades of the Indian batting scores when we had Bracken, Lee and that fat West Australian fella from a few years back.

Also, in that scenario Johnson is the 'senior' bowler. He's starting to find his rhythm and is living up to his potential, don't burden him with the extra roles straight away! Let him grow into himself as a bowler before you start with that sh*t...

They won't drop 2 quicks from one test side, but they really should drop sh*ttle for Hilfy.

I cant believe im saying this but i agree 100%. (on the fast bowlers) krezja must stay though.

I never thought i'd see the day where you said you wanted bollinger in the team though.

   at Locky. A few weeks back Bollinger was a hack who was far worse than Siddle, now he wants him in the Test side. A stain on humanity

FTR, Bollinger and/or Hilfenhaus should have been there from the beginning. Lee looks burnt out and needs a break

one of them has only played a couple of matches though. The reason Lee wont be dropped is becuase Clark's out injured.

If Clark was around there would no excuses IMO.
