Tim Smith is currently the worst halfback playing first grade. I rate Ben Roberts, who is also playing quite poorly at the moment, but Smith is even worse.

Saying he's the 3rd best when he's doing poorly is a bit pointless.

He's only being supportive of his team mate, probably well aware of some of the flack he's coping at the moment. Nice gesture..but I personally wouldn't agree with PJ.

I think PJ might just be trying to let Smith know that the team thinks hes that good just to give him some confidence again.

If he can get back to the game he had in 05 when he played with flair and confidence they might go alright but at the moment Smith looks like a lost sheep.

Josh Perry had an awesome season in 2001, which earnt him an Origin call up.. but since then he's been below average. Doubt you'd find many people saying Perry has class

I think the only halfback playing worse than Tim Smith at the moment is Karmichael Hunt, and he's only played 2 games.

He played origin 2003 off the bench for one game.
Anyway, the "perry" in question was Shane, not Josh.
