And both Albert Fulavai and Jason Bulgarelli won the rookie of the year award at the Raiders... but that didn't make them good players.

David was'nt that bad, i remember on his debut Sterlo in commentary said something along the lines of "this kids gonna be around for a while"

but shortly after he came back to Forbes

Surely Chris Walker has a good shot at making that team. What about Shane Whereat?

Nobody has mentioned Eion Crossan.

The Albino winger/goal kicking guru who played at South and the Sharks. Still I guess he rates higher than Corvell.

Sure does... absolute champion..

Steve Mavin & Jeff Fenech would have to be in that 17 somewhere! As would Darren Clark!....Anyone here remember Clark & Fenech trying to play reserve grade footy??

For the Roosters contingent you can't go past Graham Appo, Brett Papworth or Darren Junee.

super coach dud of the century team (i have broken a few rules)
1---daniel fitzhenry---safe a house in darwin during cyclone tracey
2---lopina kaufusi-----action jackson--score a try a game and let in 5
3---j anderson----played at every club dad coached--poorly
4---c walker--how could you leave him out--mr brain explosion
5---g smith--the mother of all duds
6---cliff beverly--think he played a LITTLE at 5/8th
7---ben kusto--had all the skills needed for this team, couldnt pass kick or
tackle
8---j dooley--the king of the turnover--slippery hands
9---g wooden--dont know a lot about him,but picked by popular demand
10--d tweedle--great name-crap player
11--h lauder---a for average--iam being kind
12--lincon raudonikis--the only thing he got from dad was a surname
13--ian sibbit---for a team that isnt strong in the dud department this guy was good-i mean a good dud
14 big paul mcnicholas-for a gaint, the only fear he put in the other
team was,he may fall on them
16 gary winter---never hot always cold,like winter
17 trent ruchimen--this guy was a meter eater--backwards-hit ups 100,meters gained -200
18 joel caine--a guy you could call on to miss that tackle, drop a ball, miss a goal--he was a game breaker in reverse
coach--the lamb/lamack combination was a beauty--highlight of their short stint--the move they invented "brown finger" with big hopa the play maker
ceo---john i have a vision ribot--the man who took our game to the world and back again, filling his boots with gold
the ref---been some good ones--i cant split two,so 1st half shane the pain haynes and second 1/2 mcblane
well thats it folks--iam sure i have missed some standouts, but this team would come close to loosing to france

Harder than you think...

Mine - and it has a few test players as well.

1. Paul Hauff (Brisbane)
2. Paul Cariage (Eels)
3. Nathan Barnes (Newcastle)
4. Jacin Sinclair (Souths)
5. Shane Walker (Sydney)
6. Steve Witt (Knights)
7. Luke Goodwin (Wests)
8. Chris Leikvoll (Saints)
9. Scott Fulton (Manly)
10. Dallas Weston (Norths)
11. Brad Myers (Brisbane)
12. Garrick Morgan (Crushers)
13. Solomon Haumono (Dogs)
14. Roy Bell (Souths)
15. Jeff Fenech (Eels)
16. Brett Howland (Dogs)
17. Wayne Richards (Knights)

Coach: Craig Coleman (Souths) - the only coach to get sacked during the trials

CEO: Denis "long contracts are the way to go' Fitzgerald.

Special mention for David 'tour-de-France' Moffat.

Referee? None since have plummeted to the depths of Greg Hartley or the Grasshopper. Pushed, have to nominate Shane Hayne in a close one from Moggers.

I left out Greg Smith - he was a poor old Yank who just didn't have the League upbringing. Yet he gave it a go.

Also left out Kusto. Limited ability who always tried his guts out regardless.

Considered Eperama Nevale as well, but that would have broken the rules - already had 2 Eels. Ditto John Plath for Brisbane.

What about joven clarke, smallest player in league history? Or tiny Sam Obst whose now in ESL? You can't include a player like Tyran Smith who has over 100 first grade games and played for NZ. Sure, he's sh*te now but he's at the upper end of mediocrity...
