No disrespect jOhnesy but with all the hoopla surrounding this kid, I don't see him as FB material. You only have to look at all the other teams to realise that. Sure he's fast, much like Quinlan. Still can't defend. We need a Teddy in this role.

I think you're being pretty harsh on the kid. It took James tedesco a while to adapt to first grade tbh. Defence is the number 1 problem for NYC players. Just have to give him time. He seems to go alright though.

Teddy is still relatively young mate, He is still the full package. Attack and defend. That's what we need in a FB. Throw in Alex Johnston for that matter. You've got a star FB right there mate.

Today Dufty showed some really good skills in defence, passing and speed to burn. His timing is very advanced for his age. I'd say he is a keeper and should be extended asap. With some really promising outside backs coming through, I feel confident that Macdonald, Aitken, Lafai and Nightingale will have to be right on there game to keep their first grade position in late 2018.

At this point in time he is no better than Quinny. I do however like the no-bullying theme subjected to Mann and Quinlan. This kid is getting overs for being quite ordinary in actual play. Nothing bad, but definitely not great. His defence is woeful. Put him in a wing position.

Dufty has been solid and for a guy 3 games in thats what I wanted to see.

Fullback is a tough gig you are expected to link into an attacking structure which Dugan fails to do and thats why I am not concerned he's gone.

To base a guy on 3 games seems to be the norm for some people.

Dufty has time on his hands and I doubt he would be concerned what some people may think of him.

Yeah you're right but johnson debuted when he was 18 and has had much more experience. Even played for Australia and failed miserably at fullback! All good things take time in my opinion
