Ummm...Don't we mean FORMER Origin and Test players? Peach, Stevo and Bailey aren't likely to represent again, and Noddy too if Joey remains fit. He's the Stuey Macgill of League, our Noddy.

No. How can you even COMPARE almighty Noddy to MacGill? Unlike MacGill, Noddy isn't an arrogant wanker and always performs against the best (read: Noddy always shits on Johns and MacGill is crap against India).

Phil Bailey is still pretty unlikely, and Stevo will still be making the City side easily and can make a shortlived return to Origin. As for Peach, he's still the second best fullback in the world and Minichiello is still blatantly a winger rather than a true fullback.

Absolutely
MacGill is a f**kwit, Noddy is King...and yes he always kills Johns

Stevo was set to play S.O.O last year till he got hurt...Then Kearns took him spot as the forward "leader". Guss wanted Stevo first.

And Peachey f**ked up his chances in that canberra game.

And as long as Bailey is off contract and Guss is coach then look for Bails too start

I always hope our players miss rep games because of the chance they might get injured. When it comes down to it I'd rather see the Sharks win a premiership game over the cowboys than see NSW win the origin 3-0.

There's also the fact that representing state or country bumps up their asking price come contract negotiation time. Case in point: Phil Bailey. I'd be surprised if his bloated head would even fit in the door down at the club.

Yeah. I love NSW to win but not at the Sharks' expense! Especially when it's our best player like Peachey.

Well, I'm as one-eyed as the rest of the Sharks faithful, but I'll say this - Tama and SS, you guys need to take the Black, White and Blue (and maybe the Green and Gold too) blinkers off once in a while.

If Noddy ALWAYS plays over Johns, then he would be the first pick halfback every time, regardless of who is coach.

Nodds might make Joey look ordinary when they play against each other, but Joey regularly makes almost every player in the NRL look ordinary at some stage during a regular season. Noddy simply doesn't do that. Yes, he's a champion player, and he plays exceptionally well in most games, but his 'miracle' games and plays are not as frequent as Joey's efforts over the course of an entire season.

JUST like Warne (miracle worker with the ball) and Macgill (damn solid player who'll rarely let you down, but he's not Warne). Sorry lads.

And, forget the talk of Macgill being a smartarse wanker here, because I'm talking about ON-FIELD efforts only. And you know my opinion of Warne as a man!

what everone means is 80% of the time in a Noddy vs Joey match Noddy makes a fool of Joey, not in all games of the season. no ones dumb enough to think that

id compare Rieck to MacGill, they have the same catching technique

Macgill (damn solid player who'll rarely let you down
damn shit player who will always let you down, check out his figures in the sydney test, oh and he was too lazy to take two sitters, the guy is a joke. he plays for himself.

Sorry dad

Now SS, don't be sarcastic! LOL.

It's about consistency. Hell, it matters little if Noddy outplays Joey head to head. He doesn't outplay EVERYONE head to head, wheras Joey usually does.

Why Noddy seems to beat Joey when they play each other is a complete mystery to me. I just wish he'd turn it on more often.

Oh, and Adam Dykes and Preston Campbell have both out-played Joey in Knights v Sharks games in recent history too. So, I say that our wins have been a team effort, lifting for the games with some meaning in them. Much like we had the wood over Brisbane for a while, or the Merged Scum always. Maybe that says something about the following cliches:

There is no 'I' in Team.

The sum of the parts being greater than the whole

A Champion Team will always outplay a Team of Champions

As for your thoughts on Stuey Macgill, well I suspect they are based on more than his on-field performances. Brett Lee got hammered in Sydney too! And what about the other dropped catches, like Katich for example, or Punter??

And Brett Lee sucks too!

Stuart MacGill is shit on the field...he doesnt compare to Warne, but the funny thing is he THINKS he does. So he's just an embarrassment.

Off the field he carries on like a f**kwit. It's the worst of both worlds.

MacGill is a f**kwit fullstop. He's been kicked out of about 3 Sydney grade clubs because no one liked him. I believe he left Sutho because he had a massive on field blue with captain Rod Davison. The guy is a wanker.

What more he now plays for StGeorge. Enough said.

Well, since I do happen to agree that Stu, as a bloke not a cricketer, is a complete goose, here's a story for ya...

At the first day of the Sydney Test when India LAST toured (1999/2000??? Maybe 00/01, I can't think back that far), a bunch of us were on the fence at Fine Leg, around in front of the Bradman Stand / Dally M stand area.

Stu was fielding on the fence, talking it up and carrying on like a wanker with the crowd, being a smart arse and joking around. Lapping up the attention, I must say.

Anyway, he's getting a huge head, then during a quiet lull in the banter, a bloke up the back of the bay shouts out at full volume:

"Hey Stuey...How's Kings Court going???"

The whole bay cracked up, Stuey went bright red and turned his back on the crowd. He stayed well away from the fence for the rest of the day and never looked at us once.

What really scared me was the number of people in the bay who actually knew what Kings Court was...Even the girls!

So, Karma always takes care of smart arses. Always. :D

Yeah, I had to ask too, Jimbo. It's a place where stressed-out men go to get un-stressed by nice girls. Apparently.

King's Court is just a rub and tug joint. Nothing to be ashamed of Stuey. He should have been going to Pure Platinum or the Men's Gallery, much finer establishments.
