I do believe he played 5/8 in one game?

He most certainly did vs. Brisbane at Suncorp last year when Paul Gallen was a late withdrawl through injury.

And he (well, the whole team) deadset carved it!

I wish I had slept before that game . . . . McGoldrick was also unstoppable that day. Merrit scored a ripper. The Peach was a marvel. It was a wonderful day in Brissy.

The attitude at Newtown is that they are to all be treated as potential first graders and as in NRL players off the bench are expected to add impact not simply make up the numbers. Dumas adds that impact and has missed some footy this year due to injury, he has been strong coming off the bench and Lomu has been a standout since coming to Newtown and showing leadership and getting involved heavily. In fact the entire attitude of the Cronulla players coming back has been terrific and the players are starting to become a single unit right throughout the club.

Its good to hear, we try and make them feel welcome and when they pull on those royal blue jerseys they become part of our history and we appreciate their efforts on and off the field. Just as we appreciate the support from Sharks fans.

Last year Andrew Johns was asked in RLW 5 young players he saw as future stars and he picked Daniel Dumas as one of them . Thats a big wrap from a guy who reads the game better then anyone.

The kid tackles low and hard and also seems to find himself in space a lot running great lines ... a talent 4 sure
