I wonder if Dykes doesn't enjoy playing at Parra and really wants out....there was the much publicised incident with a certain fan.

Also, wasn't there some rumour about us being after someone who is under contract that another team would release???....I wonder if there is any truth to it and if it could be a half?.....woohoo - lockyer at 5/8

I thought that was Gasnier. Cannot think of anyone else.

We need Dykes if anyone should be released its Witt and Thormann who offer nothing. Next year Dykes and Tim SMith could make a good combo with Tim Smith easing in to the role of half back under Dykes

NOBODY SHOULD BE RELEASED!

The club signed them to a contract, now they should be forced to honour it.

Dykes has had a horror run with injuries since he lobbed in 02. Despite that, he has been our nbest half or five eighth by a LIGHT YEAR. His loss is huge - the failure to replace typical - the result for 2005 predictable.

lol, one thread on a website = much publicised?

If Dykes goes we have nothing. He must stay - simple as that.

Surely that means we are chasing either Seymour Mcguire or Williams

You never know what Brian will come up with. He might have some nutty professor scheme to convert Morris into a halfback, who knows. Joe Williams would be a high priority right now if it were up to me though. He's going to be something special that kid.

believe me, thats not so nutty, John Morris could easily play halfback, he was John's understudy at Newcastle where he always was a halfback, his talent only had him playing every position imaginable.....and he was converted to a hooker when he came here.....it could happen and maybe it should, although i'm still prepared to give Witt a chance, if he is allowed to play halfback......Joe Williams will be at Manly next year

He has whinged about this, that and the other and tends to blame other players when games are lost. I just dont think he has the heart to play for Parra, where as he is a Shire boy thru and thru and should fit easily in back at Cronulla where his game time, etc, will no doubt lift.

Nope, he pretty much did that at the Sharks as well.

I was glad when he left and don't want him back.

Unfortunately though I think we will waste more money and take him back.
