As much as it's ultimately likely to end in heartache, at this point the reality is that Mitch and Isaac Moses relationship is probably the only way we can put together something that resembles a Premiership contending roster in the shortest time possible.

There is this myth around the salary cap largely promoted by Craig Bellamy in his heyday day you don’t pay overs for front rowers.

I’m not so sure it is sound logic given secondary playmakers are commanding over a million a season.

My take is a bit different, I think a world class middle, say Payne Hass or AFB are much more worthy of the big bucks that the secondary playmakers maker.

You guys willingly let RCG leave , fair enough he is getting on in years, in his defence he was your best middle forward last season by a country mile in my opinion and I think he still has a good year or two left in him.

The Panthers got the job done in Round 1 against the Sharks but anyone with any idea about the game could see AFB is going to be enormous for the Sharks this season.

No doubt but AFB also brings baggage though so you have to weigh it up is he going to be the difference to win a premiership.

The sharkies have taken the punt because they cant trust Nicho in the big games so they need a point of difference somewhere else.

AFB has spat the dummy at both clubs he has left and its ended sourly i must say similar to Dave Klemmer except AFB is more of an elite player these days.
