Dylan Brown is overrated

I feel sorry for JR to be honest. He’s got a 900k player chewing into the cap that has zero future here. Tough decision to make.

Penrith need a 5/8. What if we offer them Dylan for this year and they give us Jesse Mclean in return..He is down the pecking order there. Highly talented kid.

His cap space is an opportunity. That’s the way to look at it. I don’t think an NRL coach would see it any other way.
Except what do you do with that cap space?

there is no one to buy on this year's cap - and to use it on existing players, you have to upgrade their contracts...are we really doing that with any of these guys at the moment??

Anyone care to argue? Anyone? Last one out switch off the light….
I care as much for Dylan as what Dylan seems to care atm playing for Parramatta.

Andrew Voss was tearing strips off him on SEN breakfast radio this morning claiming he is playing in a dinner suit and mentioned it 3 times.

Voss said how pathetic his output was 1 run in the 2nd half when he said from the 30th min you had Iongi 5 FG games, Hawkins 15 FG games and Ryley 4 FG games of experience out there with not a lot of experience and what the highest paid player in the game next year was actually doing.

Then in the 80th min when its too late decides to have a run.

14-6 the game was slightly back in the balance and we imploded even more.

If they can offload Hastings I'd say it will be a done deal.

apparently on 400k a year at the knights. would only free up half of that wouldn't they by letting him go early?

I don’t think it’s worth letting him go this year. He is still one of our best players and just needs to find some form. As for next year’s cap space, I’m sure a bunch of it went to signing Walker. The rest can be used to extend promising youngsters.

There were plenty saying the same thing about Waqa Blake, and look how that turned out. He never found form.

If you watch the Presser again, Ryles stated that the conversation about Drown leaving early had never taken place, but he certainly didn’t rule it out. He said if anything changes he’ll be the first person to tell the journos.
