Dylan Brown is overrated

I don’t think it’s worth letting him go this year. He is still one of our best players and just needs to find some form. As for next year’s cap space, I’m sure a bunch of it went to signing Walker. The rest can be used to extend promising youngsters.
If Dylan was playing well we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

Atm he looks like a player that has checked out. You can only judge what you see your own eyes.

He has been a passenger in the past 2 weeks. The usual effort isn't there. If he was actually involved and making mistakes you could go his trying the effort is there but is lacking form.

At the moment he seems happy to wait for it come to him and just shovel it off.

Its leaving Ryles in a tough spot. When he really shouldn't have to be making this call.

If he does drop him there will be no coming back.

I don't think he will be leaving because seriously, where does he go?

Knights won't necessarily have the cap space to fit him in this year.

No one else is going to take him when they know he is heading to Newcastle in 7 months.

Panthers. Trade for Jesse's Mclean. Straight swap but we keep Jesse long term

We would have rnd 1 mill from Guth/RCG spare.
We will have Dylan's million
Dunsters 250k
Bryce 250
Lussicks 200k
Maybe -
Mattersons 650k
JAC 500k

Walker would cost about 400k MAX I'd say.
Yes we need to upgrade some youngsters. But that isn't going to cost a million dollars.
We should have plenty so spend

I care as much for Dylan as what Dylan seems to care atm playing for Parramatta.

Andrew Voss was tearing strips off him on SEN breakfast radio this morning claiming he is playing in a dinner suit and mentioned it 3 times.

Voss said how pathetic his output was 1 run in the 2nd half when he said from the 30th min you had Iongi 5 FG games, Hawkins 15 FG games and Ryley 4 FG games of experience out there with not a lot of experience and what the highest paid player in the game next year was actually doing.

Then in the 80th min when its too late decides to have a run.

14-6 the game was slightly back in the balance and we imploded even more.

Maybe the partially torn acl is affecting him

Walker would cost $600k+

Liam Martin cost 700k. A
Crighton was 750k. S.Crighton 800k Matterson 650k signed when made origin.
D.Walker is not costing 600k.He is in his twighlight years and a bench player. Plus contracts start Nov 1 so he has been paid for 5mths already 400k average max

I think you could factor in another 100k as our 'desperation loading'. There's nothing else out there.

You wouldn't know what he's on, so why say that?
You've claimed so many times before that no one here knows what players are earning, when they have posted similar claims.
So, you've only posted that to get a raise out of people.
You really are a sad merkin. And I don't mean merkin. I mean ****.

You have no idea, no contacts and make sh*t up. Any chance you can take a rest for a decent while as your posts are becoming less relevant daily.

Don’t bother to reply and argue as it will make little difference.
You're happy for hindyeleven to share what he thinks Walker is on, but when I do it you're the lord of the fact checkers you f**ken hypocrite. Anyone who would share private information like this isn't the type of person who would be trusted to hear it.

If I had contacts, they would be full of shit like yours.

I'm talking about next year. Walker will handle the ball a lot more than a bunch of edge players (especially Liam Martin), and probably make more tackles than them too. He will be an important member of our side, even if he comes off the bench. Plus we are winless and desperate. He's not coming cheaply.

And it's "his twilight years"? He will only be 32 when the contract ends. Maybe if it was a five year deal, we might've gotten a discount, but Walker is a playmaker. At 32 he could still be in his prime.

Yeah good question, @hindy111, why would you say he'd be on $400k MAX?!?

I never said I know how much he's on, I said that's how much he 'would be' on, meaning it is my opinion based on supply and demand. $600k is only one twentieth of the salary cap. It's less than half what Dylan Brown will supposedly be getting from Newcastle, a less desperate club than ours. $600k is not an elite salary and hasn't been for a decade.
