Dylan Brown is so overrated by all. The Olsen Filipaina of his generation.

Easily the most inconsistent player in our squad. Chewing up too much cap. Not enough bang for buck. If we could land someone like Galvin I’d cut him loose.

Since Dylan established himself post that 3 month layoff in the 2019 season with a back injury.

Dylan has missed 16 games in total and we have won 10 those.

A more recent sample size since the 2022 GF - Dylan has missed 8 games and parra have won 5 of those games.

Weather its a coincidence or just pot luck.

Results would indicate Dylan is generally not missed when he isnt playing.

Considering in that same period our record without Moses or Gutherson when he was here in that same period was horrendous.

We didn't win a game without Gutherson since 2017.

I think it points out that whoever we put there to replace Dylan i dont think its going to be a massive downgrade as everyone expects it to be.

Agree. His decline has been sad to watch - and makes Newcastle's $1.3mil per year look laughable. I'm a fan of defence (rather than all out attack), but even though that's one of Brown's strengths he has been less than fearsome, or even someone that opposition teams think twice about running at.

Drown is also having his statistically worst season since he was a rookie. His best was 2023 (which is why his suspension derailed our season). Why is Drown so poor this year? Too old? Doesn't suit Ryles' system? Just doesn't give a f**k?
