This makes a mockery of people who actually are victims of domestic violence...

This isn’t a reflection on Walker who has been found not guilty in a court of law and I’m not going to claim that the judge got it wrong as I know nothing of the case.
However you will find many domestic violence victims remember differently, you have to remember rightly or wrongly people are in love and don’t want to see that person in trouble in the cold light of day.
Again I’m not saying Walker is anything but innocent, just that it’s not an uncommon situation.

Wonder what happened to the eye witness

https://www.nrl.com/news/2019/02/26/court-told-of-scuffle-involving-manlys-dylan-walker/

The only other witness to the incident was neighbour Lauren O’Sullivan. She and her partner Craig Monika live directly opposite Walker and Ivkovic but had never met or talked with the couple before.

“I saw him [Walker] yank her ponytail very hard and I saw her fall to the ground,” she told Magistrate Michelle Goodwin. “He was becoming more vocal and I could hear him pleading with her to come back [inside the house] before he yanked her back.

“It was enough for me to feel quite distressed.”

O’Sullivan invited Ivkovic back to her home despite Walker trying to get her back inside the couple’s property.

“I said to him ‘She doesn’t want to come with you. She wants to come with me’. He then said ‘F--- off and mind your own business’.”

Yep. That is sometimes the case and also it is often the case that the allegation is either totally made up or certain aspects of it is made up and exaggerated.

What is it with NRL CEO's and their need to suspend innocent Manly players ?

Captains call from Toddy to suspend an innocent man, whilst a guilty man in Chee Kam was allowed to play on.

Do the game a favour and resign immediately Todd.

Violence against a women is a completely different kettle of fish from violence against an Uber driver

Look, I reckon he's a straight up sack of shit and I can't wait for him to not be a Manly player but being convicted of a violent crime is a completely different kettle of fish to being aquitted of one.

Yeah it is a different kettle of fish.

One gets a 9 week holiday before the judicial process, one doesn't.

Consistency is indeed, over-rated.
