thats what i was thinking, theres a long waiting list, we should just start our own comp.

It's a top site, highly recommend using it if you start another comp. Though it would be good to add another conference to the game.

We could then be forced to drop half our squads this season, with priority picks for the new guys, so they can at least recruit half there squads this season (so they have the same amount of players as us), and then the normal draft can commence. Thoughts?

Or even only be able to hold onto the minimum starting squads. So we get to keep our first choice players, but all backup players must be throw on the market. This way the new teams get a good choice of personal to create there initial starting teams.

Would be great to have 16 teams in the comp

waiting for mal meninga, paullyboy and legend.

i think i want to keep it at 12 teams. i can't see a dynasty league working with more than that. we only have 10 bench spots and the FAs are terrible now. imagine what it would be like with 16 teams.

sorry but that's the way i see it.

i'm pretty sure there will be enough people interested in here to start another comp. there's something enticing about building your team over the years to build a dynasty hopefully.

Yeah.... its tough to find FA's to cover bye's.... I would hate for the winner every year to be decided by the NFL schedule and not management.

12 is great for me.

Kurt, are wegoing the same setup as last year with the 5 drop?? I have 3 ready and the last 2 will be last moment decisions.

I might have to put this up for a vote..... but I marked my keepers, and then while browsing other pages I dropped the non-keepers....

I marked Benson a keeper and dropped J. Campbell..... I meant to drop Benson as he has just been cut by the Bears.....

I would like to have this reversed, but I will leave that up to Kurt and the rest of you guys.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and give you the ok.

On other notes, I don't think Paullyboy will be able to make it this year as he has just left for the USA for a good year and not sure whether he'll be able to have computer access.

that's disappointing news dazzle. well it's good news for paullyboy but bad news for the league.

i guess we'll have to look for a new manager. or is there any way to find out if paullyboy would still be interested. when the season starts over there it may rekindle his interest.

Kurt, any thoughts on my bungled player drop??

If I cant swap it back, its OK as I am stacked for starting QB's anyway.... I may well hold onto Benson and see what becomes of him.... either way he will be a simple drop if a sleeper is available during the season.

i'm thinking of having the draft in this forum again. i checked out a sample draft in the fleaflicker site last season and it was terrible. it picked 2 def, a kicker and a te for my first 4 picks. there's no way i'm going to subject some poor sucker who misses the draft to that.

think about who you want to keep and i'll make a note of it before the draft kicks off.
