ok, a great response. we already have 8 in the league.

it looks like only mel meninga hasn't joined up yet from those showing interest in this thread.

and douglasallen looks set to join. that will make it 10.

btw douglas, the draft is on thursday night, aug 31 at midnight.

it doesn't really affect us if you're not there but it will affect your team. you will have to pre rank your players carefully but, needless to say, you will probably have the best defense and kicker in the league as the computer will pick your starters first before it picks a bench spot.

just remember you must take into account the future as well as the present but don't sacrifice the present for the future when ranking your players.

a couple of examples. reggie bush. will he be the next marshall faulk or will he be the next warrick dunn? do you risk a high draft pick on a player who nobody really knows how he will perform in the nfl? what about the 3 qbs - young, leinart and cutler? one may be the star of the nfl but history shows at least one or two of them will be a bust. how high a draft pick do you want to risk on them? but i guess that's the fun of the draft.

anyway at the moment there are 4 spots left, soon to be 2.

I love seeing the results from dynasty league drafts. So many people take the hot young things out of the most recent NFL draft in the hope that in 3 or 4 years they may come good rather than taking someone like LT who still has a lot of years of good service left and is proven to be a gun.

i can count 5 teams from that league that didn't join this league.

i feel guilty if they miss out on fantasy football this year in a league with other posters from this forum.

do you guys want me to move this league to a week earlier so the other one can still proceed and the other guys and girls don't miss out? or will i leave it as it is?

i would appreciate your feedback.

Im in both leagues, although I have no interest in the NFL.com one anymore - Id delete it if I knew how to.

No idea what's doing with the other coaches, if they haven't been back here its probably a good sign that they wouldn't have lasted anyway.

Draft order:

The draft order for the first round of your draft will be determined 30 minutes prior to the start of the draft. The order for subsequent rounds will reverse after each round (e.g., if you have the first pick in the first round, you will have the last pick in the second round). Commissioners of private leagues may choose to set the draft order manually.

ok, i'll just leave the draft time as it is.

paully, you sould be able to change leagues. if you click on that link it should tell you that you will need to delete the league to do so. that's how it works in yahoo and foxsports, however i haven't tried it at nfl.com.

dazzlex, did i tell you i went 16 and 0 last season? you can read all about it in the nfl.com thread. actually, i should do that and reminisce about such a wonderful perfect season.
