the eagles deserve everything they get this season.

they knew what they got in owens and they knew that they ripped him when he didn't want to go to the ravens and undersold himself to play with the eagles.

he kept his mouth shut last season and made the eagles a better team and gave them a swagger they needed to get to the superbowl.

surely they knew owens would want more money after he had proven his worth to them. they had to know this would happen.

that's why they deserve it. they knew it would happen but were too cheap to give owens his due.

so sucked in you stupid eagles. i hope last place in the east makes you rue your cheapness.

they've lost 2 games in a row because mcnabb only has stiffs to throw to in the last qtr.

now they've probably lost mcnabb as well.

yeah that was a great move getting rid of owens.

sucked in to the cheapskates.

they will finish last in their division but at least they didn't give owens the extra couple of million he wanted.

Agreed, Smith is no TO but has two Superbowl rings to show for his troubles and played with one of the greatest NFL players of all time in one of the finest teams of the modern era, only bettered by the Patriots and even that is up for debate IMO as the 98 Broncos would have beaten the 2004 Patriots IMO.

Clarett was cut before he played a game and Elway never wanted to go to the Colts (it was Baltimore then FYI) and he was the reason I started following the Broncos.

Funny thing is, Plummer is starting to take a few of Elway's records which can only be a positive sign for the Broncos after seven years in the SB wilderness.

that's why many on the team still like owens.

he stood up for his rights and in the process took on the management player in mcnabb.

players aren't stupid, they've seen how the eagles have screwed players for years except for mcnabb.

that's why you saw players supporting owens in the media and silence in mcnabb's corner.

anyway this ended up perfectly. the eagles tried to screw another player but a player finally gave them what they deserve and their season is ruined beyond repair.

hopefully they've learned their lesson and if they haven't their future is as bleak as this year turned out to be.
