Dirk Nowitzki - (Dallas 19-4)

24.7 points (56 FG%), 7.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists

Deron Williams - (Utah 17-8)

22.2 points (47 FG%), 4 rebounds, 10 assists, 1.3 steals

Dwight Howard - (Orlando 15-8)

21.5 points (57 FG%), 12.2 rebounds, 1 assist, 2.43 blocks.

That'd probably be my top 3 atm.

How bout Tony Parker? Plyaing lowest minutes for a few years but still averaging career-best assist numbers while leading the Spurs to the best record in the NBA (and their best start in franchise history).

I shouldn't have thrown the laughing smiley on there that was aimed at the Bulls fans chanting MVP against the Lakers not his MVP credentials.

I cant help myself the Rookie-MVO double to the G-Men Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon, I guess its hard to hide my loyalties especially in a team of kids.

Issue I have with that is that I'm not sure he's more valuable (or as valuable) to the Spurs as Manu. I mean Manu has been very good this season and you could say make the argument that he's the barometre for how far this Spurs team can go. His health has been dodgy for the last two seasons, and as a result, the Spurs haven't been able to seriously contend in the playoffs.

It's the same reason why I don't atm consider guys like Kobe, Gasol, Rondo, Garnett, Lebron, Wade, Durant, Westbrook as legitimate MVP candidates. How can you be the MVP of the league when it's not clear whether your the MVP of your own team?

lol amare ??? Love dropped 31-31 on him and bargani scored a season high 41 on him
he is the worse defender in the league,Dwight gets my vote

Amare is a terrible defender i no, i never said he would win, i said he is playin insanely good atm and has to be considered.

Check the season stats:

Amare - 26.2ppg 9.1rpg 2.5apg Knicks 16-9

Dwight - 21.5 ppg 12rpg 1apg Magic 16-8

Also Amare has had like 8 30+ point games in a row, thats playin insane.

also tony parker will not win MVP. He is not the most important player on the Spurs, Duncan and probably Manu are both more important to that team.
