LOL looks like brissies days of dominating QLD SOO are over, that team would be as competetive as any based off what ive already seen of these players.

Turn it up! Cronk and Ingliss are only just starting full time careers in first grade! Ingliss is a smokey this year but Cronk is still a while off and there are too many other players ahead of him at five-eighth and halfback. He has utility value which would make him handy....but that team looks good, excpet for Southern who is from Wollongong IIRC...

The bench is inexperienced but last year - when we picked Nutley - showed what a newcomer can bring in the way of enthusiasm. We need a bit more punch: Scott and Thaiday may just be that spark we need. Give me them over the likes of Carlaw, Parker etc

Take the captaincy off lockys shoulders and give him some breathing space to allow him to become the player he was. Run him off the bench as an impact player at crucial points in game and allow him to find his feet again in a position that suits him. Give the captaincy to Crocker who plays with passion and niggle.

Play Inglis and Cooper (back rower/ front rower playing centre for Cowboys) who are the best two prospects to come out of the Qld Cup in the last couple of years. Blood them now.

IMO QLD should take a gamble on Tom Leyroid Lahs at second row. He is an absolute gun and just what QLD need. very Big, Very fast and offloads better than most forwards in the comp from what we have seen this year. If he continues to play well up until origin I think he has to start. definatley a better option than Stagg or Parker. He is made for origin
