hhmmm, I am simultaneously happy & apprehensive for 2004.
There is not doubt the Sharks will improve, however, for mine there will be a few movers on next years ladder. & I consider them & us fighting for entry into the 8.

they would be ;

Parra. finished one game short of the playoffs this year & finished with 11 wins from 12? Also understrength this year & rotated many players. They have purchased decisively. Most likely to enter the 8.

Dragons. Bad year with injuries, actually horendous. if they get the team on the park, they will be in there swinging. Next most likely to enter the 8

Then there is US, Tigers & Cowboys. This is the "free radical" bunch.
Big changes, purchases etc. I think we may be sitting the best of this bunch.

Just improving won't be enough to get into the eight.
we will need one team to destruct, a lot of luck, and a low injury toll.
