hmm yeah he had success at the chargers that one year when the arl was split, but hes done nothing since. he was fired from his job at byron bay devils, they were coming last at the time...he was coaching cudgen this year, they are gone for the year...and now souths-logan decide to sign the reject and by all accounts it will be long term, cause economides has said he needs longer than one year to get things going...which is a fair comment. from talking to players who have played under him since, hes well passed his use by date.

I played under him in 2000 and he only cares about his pay packet and doesnt give a shit about any club he coaches. They name him as head coach then he annouces he's only going to be there for 3/4 of the season because he's got another job coaching the Pia Donkey's in bloody FRANCE. Bloody spastic, just because he got ARL Coach of the year in 97 he thinks every NRL coaching job that comes up clubs will give and arm and a leg to sign him. He's living in a diluted world!!!
