Because he wants a 3 year deal and the club is doing the right thing by giving him the option to look around while not being held to ransom.

Matt is a good solid player for sure but Kris is by far the better footballer and as Jack Gibson used to say pick your best players and find spots for them. Most people agree that Kris will be a starting 5/8 for the club in the future and a spot on the bench next year might be a good introduction for him, as I said Finch could slot into hooker for part of the game and we could see how Kris's running game goes outside Tim. Just a theory I hope PJ stays.

I think it would be more beneficial to the team and Kris if he was playing full games in lower grades and then was brought in when needed. We tried shuffling the halves during the game before and it seems to disjoint the team.

That's bullsh*t. You play footy so I'd expect you too know that if you've got the same faces you genuinely don't need thet 5-6 weeks to gel as a side.
