Agree they should have had the players removed from the teamYeh cause we didnt cop enough punishment lol
i see what you mean what if another team was after a player but they went to the bulldogs for more money which was only possible due to the salary cap cheating then club A should be able to lay claim to that player for their original asking price because they were recruited illegallyAgree they should have had the players removed from the team
hit the club with an almighty transfer fee thenI guess you cant punish the players though
that is exactly waht's happening and it's reiterated to me by a journo who is adamant that their main target is Mateo..The dogs will no longer have any cap problems whilst they're beeing sweetned with fluffy stories by news limited..
the salary cap is like a bloody seesaw one year you are up the next you are down it gives us even more reason to win the comp this year before half the team gets siphoned offHe is a good operator Mr Greenberg. He is up there with former bulldog Michael Searle IMO.
I'm not surprised thier #1 priority is Mateo. They are trying to win a comp NOW. If they were after a long term fix and to win in the near future their priority would be Mortimer. Not that he isn't capable of doing it now but he would be more of a future prospect than Mateo. Mateo is ready to deliver his best now whilst Mortimer's best may still be a couple of years away.
IMO Mateo should be our #1 priority too.
Having said that, if he leaves then he leaves. The Eels will continue regardless (this cannot be guaranteed however);-)
Yeh cause we didnt cop enough punishment lol
you weren't punished..you kept the core of that squad including Andrew Ryan who was poached illegaly..real fare that..

Good work Stagger.
It wasn't fair nor was it a real fare.:lol:

nobody is disputing that the fans were the ones who suffered the most you are victims in this as wellNot punished enough we lost 37 competition points and took out the wooden spoon. I would walk down the street with my 5 year old cousin and when he would wear his jersey he would be taunted by ADULTS because of the BOARDS decisions NOT THE FANS decision. And did I mention HE WAS 5 YEARS OLD!!!!!!! And thats just my story. SO DON'T TELL ME WE DIDN'T GET PUNISHED ENOUGH :x

well buddy, I guess I'd rather be taunted from a distance than get physically asulted on a train on the way home from a bulldogs game, but hey, that's just me...
Oh and by the way at least Andrew Ryan can retire saying he won a comp.
