Eels don't want John Folau...

Eels look to offload Folau

Parramatta centre John Folau is being shopped to rival clubs just six months after the club re-signed him.

Folau, the younger brother of Wallabies superstar Israel, made a barnstorming start to his NRL career earlier this season.

After a series of impressive performances, the Eels extended his contract for a further two seasons, until the end of 2017. But the 21-year-old, who scored four tries in seven first-grade appearances, has fallen out of favour and is being offered to rivals. The development further clouds Parramatta's centre stocks - Will Hopoate is taking the club to the Supreme Court after it allegedly reneged on a lucrative contract extension.

Parramatta came within a whisker of securing Israel Folau before he switched to rugby, but the dithering of the NRL at the time practically gifted him to the 15-man code. John's presence in the junior ranks was one of the reasons Izzy wanted to wear blue and gold, but it appears neither will be there in the future.
Could be a great signing for the centres, wing or second row.

No thanks. From what I've seen he's just Israel Folau's brother & if his surname wasn't Folau he would just be another NSW Cup standard player.

Yes to Konrad Hurrell, no thanks to John Falau.

As a long time friend of Konrad Hurrell's, I used to joke with him to join the Dragons when he decided to make the switch to league. He is surely on the outer at the Warriors and we need speed and power. Him and Frizell together would be a force to be reckoned with.

2016...I was told today the Dragons have made Hurrell a very good offer and that PM is using the fact he has team mates coming and he has Kiwi mates at the club to help lure him ....Do you have any inside info if that could be true ?

I had a vision, on the dunny mind you, today, of Konrad in the RED V!!
My visions are rarely wrong.... with his gangbuster strikepower in the centres and our forwards pack and halves combo ANYTHING is possible for our mighty Dragons next year whooo!!!

I've got nothing sorry GC. Bit out of the loop over here but I sure hope your mail is correct. His defence has been a problematic feature of his game but I am sure Mary could get him positioning himself correctly pretty quickly. I'll see if I can find anything out.

Read today that John Folau is staying, but Parra are letting Joseph Paulo go.

Sef Paulo had a dud 2015 but he's an immensely talented forward. A new club might be the tonic. Our pack, actually, our whole team, is short of talented ballplayers. Worth a shot imo

Hi All is there any more news on Hurrell. This is the guy we need and a new club with a big Red V is what he needs. Very fast, powerful. Not many come around like Hurrell if true. Yes I know he may have ' baggage' but talent aplenty.

If you mean baggage as in poor attitude and just a flat out lazy footballer your right.

I see him going to rugby it would suit him as he will barely touch the ball and not have to do much.

On Paulo no thanks another over rated lazy player who rather take the easy option.

Farrell its easy to get rid of him they did that to Beale and he is better and that's not saying much.

No mileage in John Folau. Next please.

Hurrell is explosive but he appears to be a knob. Currently contracted to the Warriors for 2016, so off limits at present.

Warriors are willing to offload, as you know, contracts mean nothing these days. Yes, he has baggage & doubt if Dragons really interested in him if they had to pay big $.
