The Eels can still make the top 8. There have been many emotional, psychological stumbling blocks to overcome, deep-core issues that have split this squad with management into many fractured pieces since late pre-season 2010.
If this squad galvanises into a working unit this week, thanks to the recent wake-up-calls, and are no longer emotionally bleeding which drains their energy and causes lots of distraction, the Eels can still carve their way through the 80 minutes of each of the next 4 rounds, butchering the Warriors along the way and right through the semi finals where the other teams remaining will be wishing they do not have to face the Eels.
If the Eels beat the Broncos this coming Friday they are on the way back AND, if they thrash the Broncos 30+ the giant has awoken and no other team will stop them. If they lose to the Broncos the fat lady has sung.
