What did he have to say Butch..Don't get NSW news down here in Thurgoona,,

He more or less said he done what he done to keep his job.
And since he left the eels no one from the nrl has supported him.
Just another bullshit whinging interview.

To be fair to Seward he probably did inherit a "shit sandwich" and did his best to fix the issue. It's not like the fraud he committed was to fix contracts he negotiated!! Or he pocketed from it!! And it's not like the board was on top of things either !!

He was probably the unlucky last man standing !!

All he to do is produce evidence that he was specifically instructed by the board to breach cap and licenced club rules and he would indeed receive the sympathy of the court.

The absence of this is probably why the DPP are appealing the lettuce leaf slap sentence.

So, why was it relevant to the discussion on hand, which is to do with the illegal misdemeanors of Mr Seward?

No but he makes out that he had to fix existing problems.
Then goes and makes some for himself
Then cries that he has been let down but he was only making the problems worse

The existing problems were players expecting money that was promised to them outside the cap. Paying overs to key players isn’t the same thing - most clubs have to do it.

yeah but you don't do it until you have cleaned up the existing problem
in any case the Foran contract was such a debacle the NRL wouldn't allow it and Hoppa shouldn't have been offered a contract at all

Hopoate’s form was very good this year. He’s worth $600k IMO. Agreed Foran’s contract should’ve seen someone publically flogged.

Then why didn’t you say it was irrelevant to the conversation in your opinion rather than asking a question like a pretentious prick?
