Personally I hate it. Ive seen far to many families hurt by gambling. Very disappointing.

Surely our Super Board can provide better options than this. Decisions like this will have me thinking long and hard next election time.
Two wrongs dont make a right Gronky. To be specific my knowledge of problem gamblers is much more related to Pokies. So yeah ban them all or put whatever in place to protect the addicts.Dude our club is literally a casino. It's a bit rich being judgy on this sleeve sponsor.
I'm no fan of gambling either, but the club are a long way from going the full Russell Crowe and ditching pokies.

Yep. Thats understood. Nothing to do with PLC which Ive already tendered my votes. So who do we sharpen the pitch forks for? The newbies? Beach and Charlton? I guess I need to keep my anti gambling opinions to myself. When will you be voting for the Eels NRL board mate?
This sponsorship has nothing to do with the PLC board who is what we vote for.
Why should merkins have to leave the house to do their arse on the punt?Don't like it either.
Let's get rid of pokies but partner up with a betting agency.

We should try and partner with a company that gives people cancer.Don't like it either.

I don’t care.
Gambling companies are out there and ain’t going anywhere.
I don't think City Index is a sports betting company (although there was a sports betting company with this name in the early days of sports betting).A well run club like the Roosters wouldnt even have betting companies as partners, oh wait - City Index and Unibet . It’s a competitive market and we need to compete.
