I’m surprised he agreed to a second year player option in the clubs favour. I thought there would have been other clubs willing to offer him better deals. I was against the signing before but this is pretty low risk and a good get if it’s the case.

We have a lot of free cash next year, so we might’ve ‘bought’ the CO with a decent sized contract. I know the media reported he was cheap but they don’t know. A big discount is a better story than fair value. So is massive overs.
